History

Bowcliffe Hall was buit in about 1805 on land which was the arena for major battles during the 15th and 17th centuries. Between 1848 and 1896 the hall was owned by George Lane Fox, Known throughout most of Yorkshire as "the Squire". Closely connected with the Bramham Moor Hunt, he took great pleasure in organising hunting parties which rapidly become a feature of the Estate and were often attended by Royalty.

We have a beautifully furnished formal conference room together with well-appointed function rooms which can easily be adapted to suit your specific requirements for seminars, product launches, exhibitions, Personnel training, cocktail parties, lunches, dinners, fashion shows.

Outside the hall we have an extensive lawned area suitable for marquees for weddings and balls.

We offer small rooms for private meetings. These can be hired by the day and we will be delighted to prepare meals and serve them in your room if required.

Glorious Food

All food is prepared on the premises by our resident chef and his staff, and we are justly proud of our enviable reputation for good food. We offer well-balanced, varied menus designed to please even the most fastidious. Barbecues can be arranged during the summer and special occasions can be catered for including Gourmet Evenings, Christmas Parties, Weddings, and other gatherings.
