Before you attempt to erect your marquee it is always better to be prepared.

Each peg should have attached to it a guy rope and next to the peg should be a side pole(but not on the roof).

This reduces the time that the marquee is being erected and reduces the chance of the marquee falling down whilst in the process of being erected.
