Ben Dawson and Kevin McNiece started Curlew Marquees in
1984. At first the business repaired tents and hired a couple
of small marquees.
Over the years the marquee business blossomed. From the
outset the pair made all their own marquees. Now the company
has a hire fleet of over 60 marquees and manufactures
for hire companies and as well as other organizations. The
business has grown by a high level of repeat work. Often
we will see marquees in our workshop for repair from the
early years of Curlew. As well as making making marquees
we sell
second hand marquees
