As you can see although the buildings were attractive, the site for the marquee was a little bit of a building site. The courtyard had previously been used as a swimming pool. When I did the site survey the pool was half full of builders waste. Before I laid the wood floor (pictured) the site had been levelled and covered in a thin layer of gravel this will allow water to drain through to the soil.
